Guinea-Bissau possesses enormously diverse flora and fauna and is rich in untouched nature especially deserving of protection. Therefore, in the southwestern part of the island Bolama, a nature preserve will be established, which will offer plants and animals a secure habitat, so that country’s the great species variety is maintained and can further develop.
